Mel is a Group Executive Producer at Ogilvy, where she recently worked on a stop-motion project with Mattel and Verizon. Naturally, this was karmic payback for the time her father didn’t get her a Barbie DreamHouse for Christmas, and instead gave her a compound bow arrow. Do not ask her about it.

Previously, Mel was a VP and Executive Producer at Microsoft, leading production on global campaigns—including one of Entertainment Weekly’s top holiday spots of 2020. Before that, she spent a decade at McCann producing for Verizon, L’Oréal, and Coca-Cola, collaborating with Blake Lively, Freida Pinto, and Zoe Saldana. She later built Mojo Supermarket’s first production wing while overseeing work for Netflix, Instagram, and Hydrow.

Beyond production, Mel champions inclusivity. She founded McCann Q, the agency’s first LGBTQIA+ group, driving groundbreaking campaigns like Mastercard’s True Name and Verizon’s Love Calls Back.

A proud NYU Tisch alum, Mel believes in the power of storytelling. She’s also happy to report that she’s almost over the childhood trauma of not getting the DreamHouse.
